லோக்சபா தேர்தல் நடைபெறும் தொகுதிகளில், மத்திய அரசு அலுவலகங்களுக்கு, ஓட்டுப்பதிவு நாளில் விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
லோக்சபா தேர்தல், ஒன்பது கட்டங்களாக நடக்கிறது. ஏப்ரல், 7ல் துவங்கி, மே
மாதம், 12 வரை, தேர்தல் நடக்கிறது. இதில், தமிழகத்தில், அடுத்த மாதம்,
24ல், ஓட்டுப்பதிவு நடக்கிறது. அந்த நாளில், மத்திய அரசு அலுவலகங்களுக்கு
பொது விடுமுறை விடப்படும். இந்நிலையில், மத்திய பணியாளர் நலத்துறை
வெளியிட்டுள்ள செய்தி குறிப்பில் கூறியிருப்பதாவது: லோக்சபா தேர்தல்
மற்றும் சட்டசபை தேர்தலை சந்திக்கும் தொகுதிகளில், அடங்கியுள்ள மத்திய அரசு
அலுவலகங்கள், ஓட்டுப்பதிவு நாளன்று மூடப்பட்டிருக்கும். மத்திய அரசு
அலுவலகங்களுக்கு அன்று விடுமுறை தினமாகும். இவ்வாறு, அறிக்கையில்
கூறப்பட்டுள்ளது.
Announcing local holiday on the poling day, is good only. But when the employees come back to the office on the next day they should submit a proof for voting. The election commission should make some arrangement for this as the machine must give an automatic acknowledgement mentioning their details. Then only every one will contest their vote.Many employees avoid voting. For ordinary people also , they should have that acknowledgement to get government benefits,jobs etc. Because voting is our duty. We should not avoid this. So government and election commission should think of this.
