 For government school teachers in Tamil Nadu, the School Education Department has officially announced the general transfer and redeployment (பணி நிரவல்) counselling schedule. Applications will be accepted online from June 15 to July 1, 2026, with the main counselling rounds scheduled to take place from July 1 to July 16, 2026

• Online Application Window: June 15 to July 1, 2026
• Priority List Publication & Verification: Check for seniority list corrections and make necessary revisions prior to the final roster.
• General Counselling & Posting Dates: July 1 to July 16, 2026

Important Guidelines to Note:

• Ensure all priority claims or grievances with the Final Seniority List are addressed on the online portal before finalization, as further appeals will not be accepted.
• Applications encompass intra-district, inter-district, and surplus redeployment transfers.
• Mutual transfers (மனமொத்த மாறுதல்கள்) will be processed according to specific departmental instructions once the general counselling is complete
